The people of Amakusa have lived with the sea throughout history. This villa`s theme is the traditional Amakusa. This villa makes you believe you are in the Amakusa fishermen’s town of simplicity. In the backyard you can hear the soothing sounds of the birds chirping and the bugs buzzing. The tree color changes every season to make the new season more colorful yet relaxes your mind and soul. Which is a sanctuary.

Each of the 4 separate villas has a private outdoor bath fed by a natural hot spring, as well as an indoor bath. There are one-room, open concept villas as well as two story villas; we invite you to choose the one that best matches your preferences.

[ Villa A-1 ]

This is the most secluded of all the Villas A/B. Especially suited for a couple seeking privacy and solitude.

The patio has a view of the forest with the East China Sea beyond on the western horizon.

Seen from here, the orange colors of the sunset can be breathtaking.

The Western-style room is furnished with a king sized bed, and there is a small window above the bed to let in fresh air.

You will wake up refreshed, surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest outside. We hope you will enjoy a flower bath in the cat’s paw bathtub.

The bedroom adjoins the living room, making this villa suitable for a family with small children.

The living room has a unique round window showcasing the lush natural scenery outside.

This villa is a two story unit and has the largest outdoor bath.

This villa’s second floor is remarkable for its views of the East China Sea on the horizon, seen over the roofs of other villas.

On the ground floor there is a twin bed; the second floor has a living room and a Japanese-style room.

Futons are available in the Japanese-style room should our guests prefer to sleep in separate bed rooms.

The outdoor rock bath is the largest of any of our villas and there is also cat's paw bathtub where our guests can enjoy a flower bath.

Enjoy the sight of countless stars in the sky, or the mysterious mood that rain brings.

From the outdoor bath, enjoy the scenery of the roofs of Villa Colegio emerging from the green forest canopy.

Slide open the shoji screens of the Japanese-style room and luxuriant greenery will greet your eyes.

Enjoy the singular atmosphere of the hexagonal room. On a wet day, the forest mists and raindrops falling from the eaves evoke a contemplative mood.
